Essive is a Dutch hardstyle producer/DJ known for combining powerful kicks, melodic emotion and a modern, forward thinking sound. Rather than fitting strictly into raw or euphoric hardstyle, his music moves between both worlds, with a strong focus on energy, atmosphere and experimental production.

With releases on Gearbox Digital and Q-dance he is growing his catalogue of original music, Essive has steadily built his own place within the hardstyle scene. In 2026, he was selected as a finalist for Q-dance’s RED Race, where he worked closely with Phuture Noize as his coach. The project gave him the opportunity to further develop his sound and showcase his music to a wider hardstyle audience.

In 2026, Essive was booked to perform at Defqon.1. Although the event was cancelled due to extreme heat, he later got the opportunity to perform at Decibel Outdoor, where he played at the Future District.

With new releases, collaborations and live performances ahead, Essive continues to push his sound forward while staying true to one goal: creating hardstyle that stands out without losing the emotion and energy that made him fall in love with the genre in the first place.
